El Molinero – Details
El Molinero is the house where the Miller of the village lived and our other house next door is the actual mill which has been refurbished and reformed to a 2 bedroom house with a small garden. The house is in the middle of the village but on a quiet street with no cars. You can however drive down to the house to leave luggage or heavy shopping but it is a narrow one way street so you cannot park for long. The whole area is very charming with the village ‘washing’ place (where women still today does their laundry in the cold water coming from the mountain stream), the beautiful Town Hall and the small streets and stairs leading up and down to the various houses scattered over the terraced land. It is a minute away from the Plaza (the village square) with its bars, cafes, restaurants, banks and a few shops. This is where everybody meets from early morning coffee to late night drinks and entertainment. If you are a bigger family or a group of friends it is suitable to rent both.
